About GNOSIS

Our Story

Building infrastructure that captures who decided what, and why, so the institution can stand behind its actions.

GNOSIS

Building the Infrastructure of Accountability

A portfolio of purpose-built products across high-stakes environments. Defining how situations are captured, handled, and carried forward.

This is not software layered onto systems.
This is infrastructure.

The Infrastructure
GNOSIS

GNOSIS

Accountability Infrastructure

The foundational layer. Methodology, technology, and accountability framework that every product in the ecosystem is built on. GNOSIS is how judgment becomes evidence and accountability becomes durable.

The Black Box

When something goes wrong, every organization is asked the same questions.

What did you know, when did you know it, and what did you do. GNOSIS keeps a trustworthy record of five layers, so the answer exists before the question is ever asked.

01 / Awareness

What was known

Every signal, report, and concern, captured the moment it enters the organization, attributed to a person and anchored to a time.

02 / Judgment

What was decided

Every judgment call in context: who decided, what they decided, and what reasoning was on the table at that moment.

03 / Action

What was done

Every action taken in response, sequenced and time-stamped. The accommodation granted, the investigation opened, the conversation held.

04 / Follow-through

What changed

The policy revised, the training delivered, the recurrence prevented. The proof that lessons were operationalized, not just learned.

05 / Proof

What can be proven

A hash-chained, signed record any third party can verify independently, without trusting GNOSIS and without trusting you.

The Generational Wave

A new workforce is arriving, and it expects documented fairness.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the most diagnosed, most documented, and most rights-aware generation to enter high-stakes work. They arrive with clear needs and clear expectations. They will raise concerns, and they expect to be taken seriously.

Most managers were never equipped for the accommodation requests, mental health disclosures, and documentation these moments require. That is not a training gap. It is an infrastructure gap, and it is the one GNOSIS was built to close.

Accommodation as the new baseline

This generation arrives with documented needs. Organizations that build real accommodation infrastructure will not just avoid harm, they will keep their best people.

They deserve to be heard

When someone reports bullying, discrimination, or harassment, the response should be structured and held in a record, not left to memory.

Retention starts with respect

The workplaces that invest in structured support today will keep the workforce everyone else is struggling to hold on to.

Our Team

Leadership Philosophy

Built on empathy, driven by purpose.

Clinical Foundation

GNOSIS was built from the frontlines. It began in inpatient psychiatry and Employee Assistance, sitting with people in their most acute moments, where the same workplace crises kept arriving wrapped in HR processes that too often failed the people inside them. GNOSIS is what happens when people who sat with that refuse to accept it as the standard.

Inpatient psychiatry roots, crisis intervention and trauma-informed care

Employee Assistance experience across HR, conflict, and workplace harm

Evidence-based approach to behavioral risk and accountability

Interdisciplinary Team

We bring together expertise across psychology, software engineering, and risk governance to build tools that work in the environments we know best.

Principles

Our Core Values

The principles that guide our decisions, shape our culture, and define who we are.

Integrity

We hold ourselves to the same standards we ask our clients to meet. Transparent, honest, and accountable in what we build and how we describe it.

Innovation

We build what the frontline actually needs, not what sounds impressive in a pitch deck. Creativity in service of clarity, not complexity.

Collaboration

We build with our frontline partners, not for them. The best solutions come from the people who will use them every day.

Empathy

We put people at the center of everything we do. By understanding the human impact of accountability failures, we build tools that protect both organizations and individuals.

Growth

Growing Global Impact

Building the future of accountability, one organization at a time.

Built Here

Founded in Newfoundland and Labrador. We build for the communities we know first, then expand where the need is.

Built With

We work with frontline operators to shape what we build. The people who use it decide what it does.

Building Now

Three product lines in active development. Workplace accountability, community preparedness, and policing oversight.

Responsibility

Our Commitments

Concrete commitments, not corporate promises. What we are actually doing, not what we aspire to do.

Honest Product Claims

We describe what GNOSIS does, not what it might do. No speculative language, no unverified statistics, no simulated testimonials.

Every claim tied to a shipping feature or in development
Publicly clear on what is live vs. what is in design
No marketing language that would mislead a reviewer

Frontline-First Development

We build with the people who will use the system, not for an abstract buyer. The product is shaped by real operators in real environments.

Development in workplace, emergency, and policing contexts
Feedback loops with frontline users, not just procurement
Design decisions traced back to user input

Local Accountability

We are building in Newfoundland and Labrador, and we intend to stay accountable to the communities that host us.

Atlantic Canada roots, not a remote satellite office
Hiring and partnerships anchored locally where possible
Clear, plain communication in every public-facing document

Our Vision for Impact

We measure success by the record we keep and the trust we earn, not by the growth metrics on a slide deck.

Community Impact

CIVIC is free for every household in Newfoundland and Labrador. That is a real commitment, not a future pledge.

Employee Engagement

We measure our own accountability the same way we measure our clients: by the record, not by the slide deck.

Environmental Action

We run lean infrastructure and avoid unnecessary compute. No blockchain, no proof-of-work, no carbon theatre.
